Good Morning tomorrow!

I'm really warming up for #GM12 in Stockholm tomorrow.
Good Morning 2012 is the annual international event on future trends and innovation organized by the the Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship.

The morning will start with Hans Rosling's lecture At the far end of the entrepreneurship garden starts the deep forest of perseverance!

Followed by Jameson Toole, PhD Student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology who considers how to put Big Data to Good Data. The big question is: Where does Big Data fit in to solving pressing social problems from education to urbanization?

And more questions will be discussed in the interdisciplinary workshop The Humane City:
How will the digital revolution change the way we use our city, consume and live our lives?
How can we make it easy to stay healthy, enjoy life and socialize across generations, class and disciplines?
How do we reshape the city through insights gained from Big Data?
It will be an exciting day!
Good night and see you tomorrow!

Double Prominence Eruptions

The Sun erupted with two prominence eruptions, one after the other over a four-hour period on Nov. 16, 2012. The action was captured in the 304 Angstrom wavelength of extreme ultraviolet light. It seems possible that the disruption to the Sun’s magnetic field might have triggered the second event since they were in relatively close proximity to each other. The expanding particle clouds heading into space do not appear to be Earth-directed.
